.Olympus E330.50mmMacro.ISO200.CurvesAdjustment.It was my Birthday a few hours ago. I turned 22. I'm not sure if many of my friends knew of this. I did nothing spectacular. My mother made me a cake. This was the most special part of the day.
As i drove home it was raining with lightning all through the clouds. As i got out of my car to go into my house a realisation hit me. I could not have had a better day. More had come to me in this day than a massive percentage of people in the world have in their short lives. I thanked God and felt content because of this.

BTW, I like the contrast between the flames atop and the reflection below. It's a very strong contrast and the curves (because I KNOW you used 'em) look very nice here, alot more blue, making the image appear cool even if there is a flame in it. Truly a mark of real craftsmanship with a camera.

my only suggestion would be that there's not quite enough contrast in the middle and lower part of the photo, so your eye is always drawn to the flames at the top
