Supposed to be just a quick speedpaint.. but I got dragged in a bit..Kinda bad actually.. because I should be able to do these kind of simple scenes in about an hour using custom brushes.

This was supposed to be just a sketch speedpainting for the bigger illustration.. but i, as usual, overdid the sketch and now its sorta in between the sketch and final illustration stages..
The original idea was that the main cloud would be even bigger.. even more dramatic and epic.. and there would be literally thousands of little clouds around it... 
In the middle of painting process i also got an interesting idea for this one.. but i didnt do it because it would mean that i'd have to get rid of the fighter jet: i thought of that the big cloud would be like some huge sea creature and the little clouds would look like small crowd fish. thousand and thousands of them all around the big fish-creature.
that would be damn cool..

ok i took a look.
i didnt like them so much.. you gotta practice much more! the photos were pretty generic. Do more interesting angles. They all seemed pretty much from eye height. Or are they for reference for other deviants?
If you tried to be artistical, then you need to think of the reasons behind what you shoot, the composition and the colors and shapes. I am no pro photographer though. You should ask for advice from photographers here on DA.

Its rare I get a chance to get ahold of a nice camera, so its been years sence Ive actually put effort into photography.
However, I do plan to use pics like "uderbelly" as a reference for backgrounds of other deviations.
