Description Damn Gamma!!
Would someone explain to me how to use color profiles and gamma correction in exporting the final Jpeg?
This picture looks 1000 times better on my screen as raw PSD, But when i export this for web - it suddenly gets 100 times darker and looks bad. Very annoying!

Anyways..

Wacom
I dont know how much time i spent... did it in time of half a year.. working bit by bit here and there..

Maybe i'll upload a second version with improved brightness and contrast someday.

I think the gamma is just fine ;Y hyvin oot saanu valon tähän. vähän ehkä suhteet vaikee hahmottaa, vaikka tuol on noi sillat ja ovet ja baari. tulee ekana mielee joku UT-käytävän seinä ja sit siel onki iha pienet oviaukot alhaal mut hyvä jälki muuten maalauksessa

Ei tää on mun mielest ees mikään valmis.. en vaa jaksanu enää maalailla ku oon jo maalaillu tätä jo about 6kk.. :/
Haluaisin lisätä vielä enemmän detailia, enemmän ihmisii ja enemmän mainoksia seiniin. Ehkä jopa joku ilma-alus. Siitä sais vielä paremman kuvan koko struktiirin skaalasta ja massiivisuudesta.

Joo tollaset detailit vois auttaa aika paljo hahmottaa suhteita paremmin, tai ainakin nopeammin mut on toi silti ihan sennäkönen et vaivaa on kans käytetty.

this is not pretty.. this is like a bit more poor area of future Detroit.. not slums though.
You should see the rich area!

I only played the original first one for just like 2 levels.. :/
i guess i should play it to the end first..

Many great concetp artists worked on the new HR.. and its design language is very close to what i am trying to achieve. So actually i am more looking towards great visuals and designs rather than gameplay and story.. but i bet those are great too!

i get what you mean level design is after all one (if not the most) important ellements to gaming. story line is also important but its the enviroments that captavate me

level design has nothing in common with actual "design".. level design is just how the buildings are lined up so the player would go in the right direction for example...
i am talking about whole design in general! how robots look, how a chair in the game looks, window, door, lamp.. i am interested in those things believe it or not! for like 5 years before i entered the 3d-visualization program in our school, i wanted to be an industrial designer. All my friends and teachers said i should be an architect.

i see where i got mixed up im still mostly intrested in level design though sounds like you have a lot to study then and i belive it. the main sort of designs i could do are firearms, buildings and the odd monster.
i wanted to try archutecture but was told you really need to be good at maths... i spent all my maths classes drawing cartoons and fantasy enviroments

Dont use JPEG its a lossy file format, use PNG its MUCH better and will keep your quality and colour high
