Fanart for Warhammer 40K :3 This is my Adepta Sororitas Heroine Canoness... basically she leads my army (when witch hunter D isn't trying to take it over *laughs*) As before, if you don't know what Warhammer is, here's a link: [link]I wanted to try and recreate the look and feel of the Warhammer official art.. it's very dark and gothic and extremely detailed.. I hope I did atleast something close :3 If you ever get a chance XD it's some of the most amazing art i've seen.

Thanks! Yeah- it's a weird thing where the arm is straight but the glove is semi-hanging, which makes it look at an odd angle. But this picture is crazy old and I draw a lot better now, promise xD

You did? Wow. Yeah a lot of GWs models are real pieces of art. They've got higher and higher prices but the miniatures are outstanding.

Haha, yeah, this one is a bit dark.. I keep telling myself to draw up a new one- people seem to like her, and my lady certainly deserves another go.
Also: I just crapped myself. That is the coolest thing ever. The reason I never bought Dawn of War was because there was a distinct lack of sisters. But.. they look so sweet. That is awesome, you deserve the major props. Even the chainsword sisters...! That is too cool >_< *browses the screenshots*

You did an awesome job capturing the feel of the Warhammer official art. This looks like something you'd see in a sourcebook or even on the cover of White Dwarf. The colors you used work very well together and create a theme that just grabs you in to peer closer at the AMAZING attention to detail in her costume. And, she's smexah. <3
The only nitpick I could think of, is that the wax seals should be a bit shinier, as seal-wax tends to be rather bright and light reflective. ^_^

hahaha yeah 9_9 the witchhunters get old crappy spacemarine armor ;3 so although their armor save is the same.. it's most likely from their great connections with god rather than the quality of the armor *laughs*

eee...i'd hate to be a witch. i like how she has orange yet it doesn't really jump out at me. you did a nice job in subduing (did i spell that right? i'm trying to be all artsy fartsy) such a bright color to get the effect you wanted across. in other words...*3* pretty.

I don't know much about Warhammer art, but this looks terrific. It is possibly a bit *too* dark, however. I have a hard time seeing some of the details.
