Picture I did for my friend Abbie. Yes it was very time intensive, but SO WORTH IT.Done with watercolor (some colored pencil here and there).

Eventually I need to make more pictures as detailed as this one (it took me a couple of months, I usually work on pictures in a few days).

it's a lovely scene, very sweet, love the fact she has dark skin, it's hard to see it in a lolita ilustration, also i love the print and all the tinny details of the outfit and dolls. you are very gifted. I'm not sure about the mirror perspective, but it has a kind of charm too, lovely, wanna see more.

Yeah the mirror perspective is off....but meh...

^_^ Actually if I had used oils or acrylics I think I would have gone insane (I dont like oils or acrylic)...plus watercolor is pretty easy once you figure out how it works (light to dark, big to small, etc etc). Also frisket (liquid latex) helped alot with keeping the white of the paper (dots) on her veil/gloves/stockings. ^_^

I think it is a Lady Rose dress....but I'm not really caught up on what kind of loli-dresses go to which brand. >.<
My friend Abbie actually commissioned me to do this picture of her in this dress (that she bought from Japan)...soooo....I dunno I'd have to ask her.
Btw, I have been to the store "Baby the Stars Shine Bright" in Tokyo. IT WAS AMAZING! If I had more money with me in Japan I would have bought a dress....but I had to opt for lacey gloves. D: But I still have the bag around my studio somewhere.....

I was working on and off on it for about 18 days, because I had lots of school work. XD Yeah no kidding about all the intense details. Usually I get done with a watercolor picture in about 6-8 hours, not in 18 days. ^_^;;;
