Done with Photoshop CS4 and Intuos 3 tablet
Took about maybe 2 hours? (but I was using an actual photo of myself for reference).

Occasionally to make sure I'm still capable of drawing realistically, I do something off my beaten path. Hence the realistic self portrait of myself. Yup I can still draw/paint realistically. I dont know why I question every now and then if I'm still able to do it. I'm actually seeing shadows within shadows now when I paint, so ....I must be improving? Or maybe I'm going insane.

Yeah It's probably going insane. lol

This picture is actually the work in progress of the family portrait of My mother, Father, and myself all together in one visual space (and that hasn't happend since 1993!). Like a few other projects I'm working on, I'm hoping to have them done by the end of the December or by Jan 2nd. Sooooo we'll see how far I get. >3
