I don't really know why, but I just really love this shot. It's like a bright "happy" place in a decaying mess. Those steps actually led down to the creepy basement that was pitch black..

As always, you take beautiful photos. This one got me with the peeling paint. Cracked or peeling paint, rust, and broken glass all lend a particular voice to a shot. I like it.
