Oh yes! Definitely, I refuse to believe she ever hated him. Hurt by him, yes. Angry with him for sure. But not hate. If she did she would not have cared that he was disappearing. Much as she would deny it, it was pretty clear that she still loved him. And I’m happy for both of them. They deserve each other.
But I’m also glad for Coco as well. She was able to remember her Papa and pass her memories of him just in time and is now reunited with him and the rest of the family. (Not mention, be outta that wheelchair.) Overall, I’m loving your “Coco” art. Can’t wait to see more!

If she truly hated him, and never wanted anything to do with him FOR REAL, she would have been indifferent to him like you said. Not just when he was disappearing, but in general. But what does she do? She reacts to him very heatedly, because the feelings for him are still there, they just look like "hate", because she was upset and hurt. Remember how she looked when she told him that she "tried to forget him and make Coco forget him, BUT..." ? She was nearly in tears, and it was obvious she was about to say "but I couldn't" or something.
Yeah, Coco looks old, but at least she's in her right mind and can walk
