So, this is the LONG overdue final submission on the Bounty of Asher. For those of you who haven't seen what I'm talking about, here they are. XD

Now, it's finally time for the finale~! Unfortunately, as a comic would take FAR too long to make currently, with my motivation for comics being at like... Ground 0, I decided to put the rest in written form. ^ ^; I hope it's fine with all of ya. 83

Anyway~! I hope you all enjoy this, and the twist at the end is worth it! 8D

As Xenya opened the door to Asher's office, it emitted a loud creak, causing Xenya to grind her teeth together in irritation.

"Some stealth I have~...", she thought to herself, squeezing her body through the gap, hoping to get through without creating further squeals from the door. She stood in the darkness and peered around the room, only to raise an eyebrow questioningly when seeing no one in the room.

Suddenly, a shine on the wall caught her attention and she shifted her gaze toward it. Axes. At least ten of them all mounted on the wall. Each of them had a spotless shine to them the reflected the glow of a nearby lamp. Xenya presumed they weren't used for killing, but more for decoration. She walked over to them, scanning over them. Though they had been put up as decoration, they could definitely be used to kill.

Xenya ran her finger over the smooth surface of one of the blade, when she noticed a moving reflection on its surface. She quickly dodged to the side as Asher brought down the axe where her head was the moment before. All she did was give him a smirk, dodging as he swung at her again.

Xenya kept dodging backwards until her back was against the wall. As Asher was bringing the axe towards her again, she gave an evil smirk, ducking and letting Asher bury his axe into the wall, using the brief moment of weakness to disarm and uppercut him in the jaw, causing him to stumble backwards. She yanked the axe out the wall and began approaching Asher, her smirk continuing to contort and twist into a demented grin, raising the axe and swinging it, managing to nick his right shoulder badly, rendering it mostly useless.

She watched as Asher jumped back from shock and pain. Everything was going according to her predictions. He kept moving in the exact way she expected, leading himself to his own demise. As she rose the axe again for another strike though, he did something she wasn't expecting.

He rushed in. Xenya's eyes widen in surprise, not expecting the sudden rush, and expecting the punch to her jaw that occurred a moment later even less. She froze for a moment, the taste of her own blood from her bitten cheek causing confusion, a mixture of shock and intrigue taking over for a mere moment. Though, not long enough for Asher. The next moment, her demented smirk returned and her hand lunged forward, grabbing the collar of his shirt and lifting him into the air, gripping his so tight she was nearly blocking his windpipe.

She smirked at him as he stood on his toes to try to ease the pressure, grabbing her hand with his to try to tear it away. Xenya spat some of the blood out of her mouth and smirked at him, her voice suddenly cutting the silence.

"I'm impressed~... I've been the first in quite some time to actually cause my own blood to be shed~... Though, of course, you only succeeded in pissing me off~...", she rose the axe above her head again, smirking devilishly. "Though, tell you what~... If you beg, I'll make your end nice and quick~... How's that sound~?" She let out a horrific laugh after this statement, her eyes glowing menacingly in the darkness.

Asher just looked back at her, no fear or anguish showing on his face, only a look of discomfort that was caused by the cut. "... You will hear no pleas from me. I will not degrade myself for your amusement." he stated with a glare. Xenya looked slightly surprised by this response, though it was replaced with an interested expression and smirk.

"You're not afraid of me or perishing~?" she inquired, to which Asher merely shook his head.

Asher spoke soon after, sounding threatening and undeterred. "I'm a wanted man. Death isn't something I fear. If I did, I would've gotten into hiding far sooner, and I would have remained hidden. If you're going to kill me, than go ahead. But, as I stated before, I will not grovel for anyone. If I die, I will take my pride with me." With this statement, Xenya just smirked more.

"Interesting~..." was all Asher heard from her before he was suddenly dropped and feel to the ground in a heap, startled. He quickly sat up, only to see the tip of the axe pointed at his face. He slowly rose his eyes to look into Xenya's, glaring more upon noticing the smirk.

"You interest me~... So, tell you what~... I'll give you two options~..." she stated, causing Asher to tense up from confusion. She continued. "You can either be killed by me in the most horrible way imaginable~... Or join me~... It's as simple as that~..." Asher growled at this this though.

"I would sooner suffer an eternity in Limbo before joining you~..." He snarled, glaring at her. Xenya merely scoffed and smirking, pulling the axe away for a moment and inspecting it, speaking out again. "Are you sure about that~? I'm sure even YOU would have some reason for wanting to live~... Or, is there truly nothing out there that makes you want to live~?" Xenya smirked devilishly when she noticed Asher demeanor change, knowing she hit a nerve.

Asher remained silent for what felt like forever. Finally, he let out a sigh and hissed out "Fine. I'll join you. However..." He glared at her, a deathly glare, the type that would send a cold chill up one's spine. "I would recommend sleeping with one eye open. Because, if I have the chance, I will kill you. That is your warning."

Xenya smirked devilishly, replying while grabbing his hand and pulling him to his feet. "Good~... It makes this more fun~... Anyway, I'd suggest you get yourself a bit of a make-over~..." She grabbed his injured shoulder roughly, causing him to wince, healing it and walking away.

"And what's with this sudden order?" Asher asked, looking at her. The twisted smirk he saw a moment later didn't quite make him feel comfortable. "Because, you're a wanted man, remember~? You said it yourself~... Plus, you were meant to die tonight~...

Dead men don't walk, Asher~..."
