I think that sinister smile in the pic is quite fitting for the Wogglebug. Supposedly lots of Oz fans hate the Wogglebug, which is kinda understandable since he can be a real jerk sometimes, plus he's quite arrogant, and even many of the other Oz characters hate him. In fact, I think even L. Frank Baum himself hated the character. He probably liked him at first, since he gave him a lot of attention, to the point of him getting his own book and his own musical. I think the failure of the musical might have turned Baum against the Wogglebug, since in Baum's later books, the Wogglebug becomes noticeably more obnoxious. Baum's successors took it even further - in The Royal Book of Oz, the first post-Baum Oz book, the Wogglebug outright bullies the Scarecrow for not having any genealogy.

On the other hand, I did find some wacky self-published author who is a diehard fan of the Wogglebug. She was able to write poorly-written books about him since, as he is a public domain character, he is not copyrighted. She also has videos, fanfics, and even giant dolls of the Wogglebug (which I think she either made herself or paid someone to make for her - needless to say, they're not available to buy). She claims that the Oz fandom has been "unfair" to the Wogglebug. Ironically, she's actually kinda like the Wogglebug himself since she can't take criticism and attacks people who don't like her books, so it's not surprising that she'd latch onto him.
