Oh no, they are listed critically endangered by the IUCN! No wonder I never had seen one. Do you know if there are breeding programs for this species? I never seen one here, but maybe other countries have them more regularly.

I'm not sure. One day there were well over a dozen pigs in the yard, and the next day only two were visible. My guess is SD is definitely working on breeding with them, but I can't say for sure.
