I was wondering if it was Cinema 4D. Thought to myself that either it's Cinema 4D or 3DSMax... I'm going to try to get into one o' those programs ^__^

Well, the big part is allways the aftertouch or postwork or 2d or however you wanna call it.. So don't spent the most time on a stunning render.
Even a B/W render can be produced into a cool artwork.
Look at Nicoleist for example.
The render I used in there was B/W when rendered.
This technique gives you primary very less render time and secondary more chances to creat diff looking pictures out of one render.
