you can see that each stroke has a purpose&every color lends itself to the overall character of the piece . the nightmarish feeling comes through vividly ... a wonderfully beautiful work .

This is reminds me of a scene from a Novel by Philip Pullman, where Lyra Belacqua has to leave her daemon and crossing the river to go to the death valley to see her friend, Roger.. Very nicely done!

It is so beautiful, it conveys a different emotion than your pictures normally do. The way the background slants on either side makes it look surreal, like a dream sequence or a picture taken through a fish eye lens. Most of your paintings are of girls with doll like expressions, this one seems to go inside them and show what is going on in their heads, and what makes them appear so vacant and hurt.

This painting is very beautiful and so emotional! The color scheme really adds to the emotion in this peice.
I really love the sort of 'fish-eye' perspective that was used on the background, it seems to add to the feeling of desperation that the girl is expressing.
