Description
During the first year of Sketch Time, I had to replace a character that was too similar to a previous one that year. I asked for a suggestion from a friend, they picked Yangus from Dragon Quest 8. While I didn't have time to colour that piece, the sketch turned out pretty good. For this year, I put together a bucket list of about 80 characters and then randomly selected 31. Once again I asked my friends if they had any suggestions for the bucket list. Not only did that same friend's pick make it into Sketch Time '23, but it specifically Dragon Quest 8 character... again! Oh well, they know what they like. So that's the 3rd Akira Toriyama character design I've drawn. 2 from Dragon Quest and 1 from Dragon Ball FighterZ.
In any case, I gave this a fair shake, turned out pretty good. I had time to give it full colours too! Oh, and Munchie is there as well.
