I know next to nothing about wonder Woman, but that's the same story about pretty much any comic book superhero. this is a combination of a more recent comic revival from about 2016 I believe and merging that with the 2017 Gal Gadot depiction of Wonder Woman. A big focus of this was replicating the saturated colours of the comics and applying that to the 2017 movie design, meanwhile not just bleaching it with a thick black outline, that's not my style personally. Practicing painting gold or brass and metal plated armour.

AS you can likely tell the BG has been super thrown together, beyond caring about that honestly.
