Under the 100 themed challenge as Innocence.This picture was acutally inspired by a music video/song by UA called Jounetsu. Should check out the song on the youtube. It's so pretty. Kinda been my lastest obession.
At first I thought the scanner killed it, but I managed to play around in Photoshop and get the right color especially for the skin but it probably still looks better in real life.
Got to try different techinques and it's been awhile since I've used traditional media seriously. I seriously love Copics.
I just realized yesterday that for once one of my pictures doesn't have a gothic undertone. 
Materials:
97% done with Copic Markers
3% done with water color
Photoshop CS3 extended for touchups and extra
Time: several hours for drawing, and serveral hours over the course of 2 days for coloring

Simply gorgeous! I have a rough time capturing emotion in the faces of my anime pieces and you did this excellently! I love the colors especially the skin tone you picked for her. It contrasts beautifully with the rest of the composition!
