The autumn is pretty much over here in north Georgia, but I have one more fall themed image....A buck stands near the viewer. It's late fall and that means hunting season as well as the rut (at least is does here in Georgia), so he is quite alert. Standing among deep golden grass and tall trees with colorful autumn foliage, he listens carefully for any sound in the forest.

Very pretty! Autumn never seems to last long -- nice to see your scene here. I unfortunately had a collision with a deer recently -- unfortunate for my car (and my nerves), but the deer survived.

Hmmmmmmm.....a 4x4......*rubs hands together* Can't wait to try my hand with that LAMH plug-in, but haven't worked with DS4 or Poser yet, every day gets closer. Can't decide between DS4 and Poser for 3D animal work.

For animals, I recommend Daz Studio since it has several hair/fur plugins. I like LAMH specifically because it can be exported to obj format (and therefore can be imported into vue). Poser hair cannot be exported. For people though, I prefer Poser, especially for its cloth simulator.
Incidentally, this scene does not use any fur plugins, just a good UV map and postwork in GIMP.

Well, I guess that's a deal breaker for me. If Poser hair can't be exported then it has no future with me. I have no interest in creating humans (Never! Not in this lifetime!). Thanks for helping me make a final decision in the final stages of the animal tool pipeline...LAMH/Daz Studio/Vue.
