Description hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

Her mood had decreased. She looked at the ground, ready to claw anyone her got in her way. Looking away from her shadow Hawk glared at the first rabbit she saw. a grey doe. the brown and white rabbit hopped over to this new rabbit and growled. A breeze blew over her,the cold fall winds blew he scent to Dogwood. as hawk got to the new doe she growled louder, then she smiled wickedly. As her dark shadow covered Dogwood she lifted her paw in the evening light and swiped at Dogwoods face. Hawk's ragged claws had no care, being long and sharp. She hit at the other rabbit as hard as she could,so speed came to Dog's face. Hawk's aim wasn't the best,so if she it it would be near/on Dogwood's eye.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

It wasn’t uncommon for the Private to be seen in the pit. It was there that she could see her kits that still remained there, and Lantana, her beloved. However, this time she had come down on task to bring food to the Prisoners. She had yet to greet her family, and was preparing to go to them, when a loud growl suddenly interrupted her flow.

Confused, Dogwood turned to look at who was aggressing her. Her eyes were concerned, but she kept a calm stance. She opened her mouth to ask if this other doe needed something, but instead was met with harsh claws to her face before she could even speak. Pain ripped through her and she stumbled back suddenly, holding a paw to her eye as blood welled and flowed into her vision.

Shaking her head, the doe attempted to get a look at her adversary with her unobscured eye. Sharp agony coursed through her although it was a feeling she wasn’t unused to. “Prisoner, I ask you kindly to stand down.” Came her quiet voice, surprisingly calm despite her situation. She corrected her stance into something more authoritative, battle ready, but not aggressive. “Why do you attack a Private of this warren?”

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

She's so...former... Hawk thought with frustration. Her wicked smile slipped to a bored face. "Why don't you fight back?" She asked aggressively. "Are you afraid,or maybe to weak?" Hawks voice was harsh and cold as she stared at Dogwood, yet Hawk's mind was somewhere else. Maybe that was the reason for her aggressiveness? maybe hawk never knew the pain she tried to put upon others. hawk's thoughts had the best of her again. The brown and white doe tall in front of Dogwood. Again she growled "well?" why don't you fight back?" she asked again.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

The doe stared calmly back at Hawk as she spat her harsh words. They did not make her angry, only disappointed. She raised a paw to wipe the blood from her eye, but she knew it would continue to well, and she stopped. Patiently letting this Prisoner finish her thoughts.

“I am not afraid.” Dogwood replied calmly, “I simply do not wish to engage you, Prisoner. I did not come down here to squabble with my warren mates.” There was a slight hint of disappointment in her voice as she spoke the last part. She expected better of Bogweed, but this attack didn’t leave her surprised.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

She rolled her eyes. "Really, that's it? No fear? Anger, just a smart-mouth?" Boring,Bogweed Woods has no one fun." She growled stalking closer to Dogwood. Whilst she walked closer Halfie's words came to mind. If I keep fighting...I'll be kicked out... She thought slowly. With a quick shake she got ready to jump at the grey doe again.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood watched quietly as Hawk continued to growl harsh words at her. She did not want to be in this situation, nor did she want to fight. It was not her strongest suit, and it was a huge waste of energy and time to her. She could be working again, or resting with her family, but this doe had forced her into a situation that denied her both.

The area just above her eye still stung with pain, and left a steady trail of blood into her vision. This left her blind on that side of her for the time being, and this made her wary. Turning her head to get a better look at Hawk, she noticed that she was readying to pounce at her. The doe tensed and spoke again. “Attack me again, Prisoner, and you will sorely regret it. I may be swayed to let you off easy if you stop now, but I cannot say the same for our superiors.” She warned calmly, standing her ground and eyeing the brown and white doe.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

She began to laugh "Superiors!? " She exclaimed with a smile "Have you seen my ear?" She asked flicking the torn one "That's what I got from them! I've felt their burn,it's nothing.. Not even the half-faced blue doe could tear me apart!" She exclaimed,he sharp claws clicking on the ground. "You superiors are weak " She growled loudly, hoping many rabbits in the pit heard.

Lowering herself to the ground she kicked with her hind legs and jumped at Dogwood.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood angled an ear back as Hawk laughed at her warning. She even mocked Half Face, her dear friend and fierce mentor. She could tell that this rabbit was crazy with bloodlust, and that she would have to fight this time. The white and gray doe couldn’t afford to sustain major injuries when she had to serve her warren.

Drawing breath, the Private stepped aside to dodge Hawk’s pounce. Her foe’s punishment for the move was a well aimed kick to the abdomen. “I order you to stop.” She said firmly after landing her blow. It was clear that she did not want to fight.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

The doe was skin and bone, she felt every once of pain from the kick. Although it wasn't an overload of pain. She stumbled back, but quickly picked herself up and growled again "You..Ordering me? scary." she said with a frightened face. She rolled her eyes before glaring at the other rabbit. "You don't wanna fight hmm? Well,I'll make you." She growled running at Dogwood. once she got close enough she snapped at the rabbit's side, full force if she hit,it would tear skin,if not,it would hurt her.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood only hardened her gaze after Hawk’s sarcastic response to the kick. A small breath of air escaping her lips as it became more and more obvious that this prisoner wasn’t going to stop. Having to fight back didn’t make her proud, even if she knew Half would be. Hurting her warren mates, even a Prisoner, made her heart drop.

She wasn’t quick enough to avoid her foe as sharp incisors ripped into her flesh. She let out a gasp of pain, but did not whimper. It burned like fire as she felt the fur and skin rip from her torso, fueling her retaliation. Turning her body, she moved to pummel at Hawk’s face with her front claws. Her expression was pained and stern. She didn’t want to hurt this doe, but she had to defend herself as well.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

She tasted the sweet taste of blood. but the quickly glory ended all to soon. Hawk felt the burn as Dog's claws ripped down her nose, leaving a new bloody scar  to be seen. She took in a quick breath before clawing out at Dogwood. "Your weak." She growled with a smile.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood took the new sting of claws in stride, adrenaline helping to numb the pain somewhat. Her heart was beating quickly now, although she was superb at managing her calmness in battle. Quickly, she cuffed her foe with harsh force across the side of her face, with enough energy to make her head snap to the side if it landed. “Maybe. But I’m not stupid, Prisoner.” She replied, with the cuff. Her voice was level, like a mother who was disappointed with her child after they had broken something valuable.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

Her eyes wided momentarily "Stupid, are you calling me stupid? I Am a prisoner, but you, your the stupid one." She growled with a smile. This brought her back to Halfie, the blue doe,she had twisted Dogwood's words just how she did with half-face..

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood stared at Hawk, her brown gaze rife with disappointment. However, she did not look angry, despite everything this doe had done. She let out a slow sigh.

“Say what you wish, Prisoner. Your actions speak louder than your words... Both of which come from a place of childish anger.” She rebuked calmly. She stared Hawk down firmly with her unobscured eye.
Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

She thought "such big words for someone so small." She growled. Childish anger hm,look at yourself, child. She thought with a glare. "you remind me of Halfie." She said with a cooked smile "You remind me of her,a lot." hawk said again taking in her memories with the torn doe. hawk took a few steps around Dogwood "What's your name private?" She asked with a growl.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood raised a brow as Hawk spoke, although regretted the action as it reopened her eye wound and sent fresh blood flowing down her face. The pain was distressing, but did nothing to raise her temper. However, she was more intrigued by her foe’s mention of Half Face, and sudden turn to conversation.

“Perhaps she’s rubbed off on me. Captain Half Face is my mentor after all.” She replied, putting an emphasis on her proper title. Out of everything, she wouldn’t let this aggressive prisoner speak about her friend disrespectfully. Her gaze hardened in suspicion as Hawk finally asked for her own name. “My name is of no importance to you, Prisoner. But, unfortunately, due to your behavior, I will be needing your name.” The doe added calmly, her voice stern and level.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

"Hmm,captain Half-face eh,she's worked hard hasn't she... But-you being her apprentice... Now that's a surprise." Hawk said. The doe didn't want to hand over her name now, knowing who taught this new doe only made hawk fear. "My name, that isn't needed." She finally said. "Captain Halfie and I,we've met." She added tilting her head.

Dogwood | Doe | Prisoner

The gray and white doe immediately noticed the shift in tone as Hawk began to speak again. Could it be that she was finally showing fear? Most likely. Half Face was not a rabbit to be trifled with, and judging by the tone of her voice when she talking about a previous meeting, it was an unpleasant one.

“That was an order, Prisoner.” Dogwood responded sternly. If Hawk proved to finally make one smart choice after wading in a lake of stupidity, she would give her name. There were other methods of getting it out of her that were less desirable to both of them, but the prisoner needed to receive just punishment for her actions.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

"I must not have heard you,an order?" She asked with a darker voice. "Please do repeat it dear Captain " Hawk said, her green eyes locked on Dogwood. he face had twisted again, shifting to something more harsh.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

“Private.” Dogwood corrected calmly. “And as a Prisoner, you answer to the authority of every rabbit ranked Private and above.” Her brown eyes met Hawk’s harsh green gaze with a calmer and authoritative look. “I order you, as your superior, to give me your name. This is your last warning.”

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

"Or what, you'll go cry to Halfie until she comes and whoops my ass for not telling you? you seem like one who would do that,Oh I better tell you,,or I'll be hurt!" She insulted. Her voice filled with hidden laughter as she spoke. Hawk could hit her with words rather than claws.

Dogwood | Doe | Prisoner

The doe frowned, but was still calm despite the flurry of insults. What have I done to this doe to deserve what she’s done? She thought, but did not speak it aloud. Hawk was beginning to remind her too much of an overgrown kit having a temper tantrum.

“Hurt you? No, not unless I have to. But, your behavior will be reported to General Gladiolus if you continue to act in such a disobedient manner.” She replied firmly, “It is not my place to decide your punishment, but the severity of it will depend greatly on your compliance from now on. You have three seconds to state your name before I am forced to take that information by other means.”

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

"Seconds hmm." one pasted "Short terms if you ask me." Another gone. "Maybe a Hawk will tell you. before I do" she said as the third pasted. her name rested in that sentence. "I fear nothing of your strength, and if Gladiolus scared he would have done something by now."  she added with a frown. "Only the Hawk's know my name and place." she said looking away, letting her bloody nose drip freely onto the ground.

Dogwood | Doe | Prisoner

“Enough with your riddles, Hawk.*” Dogwood replied sternly. She stared down the doe with a deep look of dissatisfaction. “The General is a busy man, but that does not mean that he’s uncaring of our Warren. I pray for your sake that our superiors are merciful to you. You’ve already done much to damage your reputation.”

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

"You do know this is a war of bloody claws, not a war of harsh words right?" She asked sill frowning. "Your words can stop no one if they jumped at you." she paused "like this!." Her words were fast. Then she kicked and jumped at dog again, this time her claws looking for her head. Hawk stared at the grey doe as she lunged her way.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood narrowed her eyes as Hawk spoke, studying her tone. She was tensed and ready to defend herself again, watching as the doe’s body readied itself for a pounce. Prepared for the attack, the white and gray doe managed to sweep her head out of the way, claws instead raking down her shoulders.

Blood welled and stung as it began to flow out of her new wounds. Shaking her head, she turned to deliver a harsh kick to Hawk’s chest. “Our war isn’t with Bogweed. It’s with Buttercup. I pray, child, that you learn some obedience and rise the ranks. So you can fight where it counts.”

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

She tumbled to her side from the kick. With a quick breath she jumped back up. "I know who I am to listen to,and that isn't you." She growled, again jumping at Dogwood. The doe flew through the air as she leapt at the grey rabbit. Dogwood was small and frail in Hawk's eyes, But Hawk wasn't much better.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

The doe braced for the pounce this time, squaring her stance so that when the frail doe hit her, she did not fall. It was her better health as a Private that lended her just enough strength to stay standing, although it barely did the job.

The doe swung her head downward’s upon Hawk, cracking their foreheads together. It was a risky move, but Dogwood was in better health, and she could handle pain well. “You...” She rumbled softy, panting from the pain of that move, “You forget that you are a Prisoner, Hawk... You are the one who has stepped out of line.”

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

She tumbled back, her ears ringing. Hawk  had to fight to hold her balance for the bang. Holding her ground after steps back she looked up at Dog one eye half closed she held nothing back. "If you've o-only now notice I'm out of line that your as blind as can be... Because I've been out of line sense I've opened my eyes..." She said with a crooked grin. "I may be a Prisoner now Puppy,But I won't always be..." She paused "Wait until I rule over you, then you'll know what it's like to be me.." Hawk added. The bloody doe began to walk closer to Dogwood, until their noses were inches apart. "You don't Own me,none of you do." She said before biting at Dogwood's nose. (Hawk called Dog puppy for fun-she doesn't know her name)

Dogwood | Doe | Private

The white and gray doe watched in silence as Hawk spoke. Her own grim face contrasting her foe’s crooked grin. Her good eye was narrowed as she listened, but it still showed no anger. She almost seemed sad to see a doe so crazed by her own bloodlust.

When the brown and white doe pushed her face close to her’s, she let out a breath and kept her head steady. She wouldn’t arch her head back in submission to this crazy doe, not when that welcomed another attack. Those last couple words stung in her mind as she felt sharp incisors scrape the bridge of her nose. There was a small gasp of pain, before Dogwood raised a front paw and pushed her aggressor away roughly.

“I only exercised my authority because you forced me to, Prisoner Hawk.” She replied once she had recovered from the eye watering pain of her most recent injury. “Do not claim to be the victim when you were the one to attack another rabbit unprompted. As no rabbit owns another here, you have no right to play with your brothers and sisters as some Pfeffa.” Her voice was calm, but there were hints of disappointment and disgust in her voice.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

hawk slipped back with a smile at the taste of blood. "Hmm,that's hard to believe you treat us prisoners like pets." She growled with a frown. "Attack me,you have barely lifted a paw,why do you take nothing from my words and claws?" she finally growled. She was so bored with the is doe, nothing fun. Hawk didn't listen the Dog's words, rather she pinned her ears back and growled over them.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood watched Hawk with a level gaze as she spoke. It was clear that the doe had put all of her hate of the others on her, despite the fact that she’d always done what she could to care for her warren mates. This prisoner knew nothing of what she was.

The two rabbits were quite the opposite from eachother, despite both of them being terribly bloodied. The Private stood tall and calm, while the prisoner growled and pinned her ears. “I was a prisoner once. I earned my place as a Private and yet I still come down to care for my friends and family that are less fortunate than I.” She began calmly, “I did not come here to fight, nor do I intend to continue fighting you. Back down, Prisoner Hawk. Leave me to care for my wife, and my children.” Her tone was serious and level, quiet yet holding strength. She stood tall and spoke well despite the pain that wracked her body and the threat of more to come right in front of her face. She would not stoop to Hawk’s level.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

Anger began to race up again. she placed her feat in the ground, her breath steady. "If you did not come here to fight then you shouldn't be here at all. I've wrestled with Captain Half-face before,I know who she is and I know what she can do,if you don't want to fight then she damn better be disappointed." she started "If you won't fight someone as weak as me,then you should leave this warren in all, here you have to fight to eat,you have to fight to live. Words can get you higher, but they won't stop blood from pouring. I was once like you Puppy,I was kind, all bark no bite, but I've learned were that gets me. Nowhere So you better pick up some thorns and use them. Your gonna need to hurt someone with your claws once in a while,or you'll get nowhere." She said.. "Your gonna need to learn that one day,or you'll be the first of us to fall."

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood remained tall as Hawk attempted to belittle her. She would not sway from those words, not from this cruel rabbit who knew nothing of her life. Her good eye hardened as she stared the prisoner down, refusing to duck her head. “My fight is with Buttercup, not the Prisoners of Bogweed.” She began sternly, “If you believe that beating down a weak rabbit is a show of strength, then you, young doe, are stuck in a childish fantasy. My loyalties forever lie with my Warren, and with those that I love. And if that is my downfall then so be it. I’d rather die fighting for my brethren than to live another day as a coward. At least Half Face respects that choice, while you continue to growl and bite at me like some rabid homba.” There was a hint of revulsion in her voice, hidden under her level and quiet voice.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

Hawk stared at the grey rabbit in front of her "How much have you lost? Were you taken from your home? Did a hawk make your family hate you? Did a Hawk make you turn dark because that's all you can do when your pushed to your limits? Tell me wise old rabbit, what was taken from you? Nothing? Everything? Let me tell you,I lost everything when I was a kit . what did you lose?" She said hints of hatred tinted every word. This doe wouldn't shake, ever. it mad Hawk so mad she didn't feel mad,but she knew she was. Her bloody face showed her anger. Hawk's tongue was bitter, but nothing shook Dogwood, she began to bore.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood stared Hawk down steadily. She felt a small ounce of pity for the Prisoner doe. It wasn’t hard to tell that she had been effected greatly by her past.. But that rang true for many rabbits in Bogweed. There were many that went through hell and came out better than Hawk. The gray and white doe had also felt her own world of hardship, but unlike her foe, she did not take it out on others.

“Every rabbit in this Warren has had something taken from them. Including myself. Yet, there are some of us that have the strength to rise above that and work to take back what we can. Answer me this, Prisoner Hawk. Are you one of these rabbits? Or will you continue to bite the hand that feeds you?” She asked calmly, unswayed by the brown and white doe’s attempts at belittlement. Her voice contrasted that of the Prisoner’s bitter growl, though it held no less power. She did not need volume to land her points well.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

Hawk held her breath for moments. These words grabbed her and torn her down. She stared at dog for what felt like hours before she answered "I may fight for no understood reason, but I have a reason. And before you spit more words at me,answer my questions,Why don't you fight, and who are you?" She pushed, her voice becoming braver with every word.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

Dogwood held Hawk’s gaze patiently as she waited for a reply. It didn’t throw her off that this doe would take a while to respond to such a bitingly calm response. She flicked an ear once the reply finally came, and was glad to know that there wasn’t an attack to follow just yet.

“I am a Private of Bogweed Warren, and I fight only when I must.” She replied quietly, still wary of giving her name to the doe. That would be a surefire way to spread rumors. Her brown gaze was stern. “Unnecessary bloodshed only causes weakness. That is why you remain in the pit.” She added those words so softly, but that didn’t lesson the sting.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

Hawk closed her eyes to keep her anger at a less bloody level. taking a deep breath "Are you afraid to share your name?" She asked with a crooked grin. He green eyes locked on Dog's grey pelt, taking in every detail that she may have missed.

Dogwood | Doe | Private

A small flick of the ear was the only notice that Dogwood gave Hawk of her catching on. She kept her expression level, staring at her dead in the eyes. “No. I am not in the position to be afraid. However, you assaulted your superior, and there is much to fear about that.” She replied with a hard frown. With that, she began to turn and walk away. She just wanted to be done with this doe and this fight.

Hawk | Doe | Bogweed prisoner

Hawk almost smiled. As Dogwood walked away Hawk watched her. Her olive eyes watching every twitch and step of that doe. she may not fight, but she had the tongue of her mentor. Hawk insulted the rabbit because she feared her,but never that that slip... Not yet at least. After Dog was far off Hawk spun around looking for somewhere to rest,to clean her wounds. As she wander the pit her face began to burn, the cut on her nose bled more. with a loud growl Hawk sat down and began to clean the wound as well as she could. With anger she looked out of the pit to see Half-face... the burned rabbit had not yet hear from Dogwood. A sort of relief covered Hawk as she looked back down at the small bloody puddle under her,it was only a few drops, but Hawk new more would come. The doe's eyes began to water as she closed them again. "Why do I fight? Is it from fear or anger? or something else?" she asked herself even though she knew the answer. She fought from fear. She lived off of fear.
