Description
As the author, I could have used a full stop. To end my story. But instead I chose a semicolon; and to continue on.
My story isn't over.
I am the author of my life; and I choose life. My pen just ran out for a bit
I know this piece looks simple, but it's taken many hours of work on and off. My brains still a bit slow and muddled, my hand still a bit shakey. But the sun is shining inside me again, and that's a wonderful feeling. I imagine it will still take a while to get back to fully functioning, but I'm on the right path 
Inspired by the wonderful semicolon project projectsemicolon.com/ and for those wondering about my story:
So tomorrow is a big day - I'm running the London Marathon! After much preparation, I'm feeling ready and determined ^_^ Thanks to your generosity I've manages to raise well over £4,000 for Mind the mental health charity! My goal is £5,000 and I know with you help we can do this!

ART CRITIQUE

Negative:
As always it's hard to find something taking into account everything about your styles mixtures and skill level. The only thing I can find is the forearms and lines around the hands. I feel the forearms stand out too much form the picture like they have been glued on top of the picture. The line seems too sharp from the arm down to forearm I think a more gradual increase in intensity and depth of the lines would have worked well here. With the hands, the only bit I think is maybe not so many lines around them less is more kind of principle is kind of what springs to mind here. One last minor thing her right our left forearm has a blue streak coming off not sure why as such it doesn't seem to add much but it does make the brain think there's a curvature in the body.
Positive:
The mixture of your styles here is pretty impressive how real life, anime, smooth, rough and light all merge together to form this wonderful piece. The inclusion of the semicolon project, the positioning of the semicolon too is spot on as well I think, it would be a common thing to place it in the hands but you seem to of avoided this and I think it's a great idea! The colours working together well great choices there. The writting on the body can be a little difficult to read in the script but that's a probably the idea also suggests that it's not always to read people even though our bodies tell alot about ourselves to other people, health wise sizes scars and also Non Verbal Communication.
Summary:
Overall a wonderful piece i see quite abit of improvement in the merging of your styles it flows so much better now i only realise thise from when i see it not before hand. A great well thoughtout idea with lots of hidden meaning and yet still lots on the surface hidden in plain sight maybe? Maybe a couple of bits i can point out but you knwo me i'm nitpicking here which shows your level of expertise. Great Job Blue!!

First of all i'm going to apologise to you for not critiquing your work like I have promised. I can't believe it's been so long so for that I am Sorry.
it wasn't till i finished this critique that it made me realise maybe i needed a break from doing this for a bit as it felt really good to get back into this again, not that it was ever a burden or not good to have the priveledge to critique your art work but just it felt better than before. I fell my level of critique has risen within this anyway enough about me this is about you.

When my sister sent me a link to some pieces of you I was just taken aback. I couldn't stop looking at them anymore and I even had to cry a little. I've never seen so much emotion in an artwork... and even though you don't always seem super convinved with your work yourself, to me your pieces are perfect, moving and inspiring. I especially like this piece for once to just look at it but also because of the symbolism behind...
Just thank you so much for sharing all these colours but much more all of the emotions!

This is my favourite piece by you.
Me and my partner have it up in our living room after we brought it and a few other prints from mcm London.
Its amazing and I also suffer with a mental health illness so fully understand what you go through.

I really appreciate this piece, and the movement it supports. I lost my cousin to suicide two years ago. It still feels funny that I can't just text her or call her whenever I'd like.

Sometimes I wish that we could think things and they would appear in writing on our skin. Or, at the very least change colour, so less perceptive people would know how we feel at a glance. I really like the idea behind the work. I was trying to read it for ages. Your art has the ability to bring me to tears but also gives me hope and great joy. Thank you for sharing it with us, it takes great courage to be so vulnerable and open to the world.

I have heaps of respect for you <3
I suffer from anxiety, which is caused by my massive annoying mental depression.
Even I have been suicidal at times, but then I think that it hurts and I quit.
Other than that, thank you for sharing your story with the world, it helps me cope with it a bit and I have decided to use my art just like you use yours.

As Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor in the 2010 Doctor Who - Series 5 finale episode 'The Big Bang' once said to his friend and then Tardis travelling companion Amelia Jessica Pond, or Amy for short -
"We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one eh !".
Thinking about it, Doctor Who maybe should have a lovely blue haired female companion someday, that's never happened before, and maybe the shade of blue could bizzarely match the Police Public Call Box exterior of the Tardis.
The Doctor and his new companion Destiny Blue, travelling through space and time in a big blue box with a wonderfully talented blue haired companion, painting the universe blue whereever they go !!
I don't really know off course if you are a Doctor Who fan, but yeah, I love the idea of a future companion with blue hair, cos the Doctor has never had a companion with dyed hair before, so that would make an interesting change.
Ahh, I'm blabbing, space, time and wobbly wobbly, time wimey.

Since I'm back on DeviantArt, I just wanted to tell you that you are the main reason I got into art in the first place. I fell in love with the colors of your pieces and how can make them look like they glow. After drawing for nearly five years I've improved so much and have always continued because of how your work inspired me. Art has led me down several different roads in my life and I have met so many great people because of it, and it is mainly thanks to you.
