Gosh. This sadly really kinda sucks.. like... really hard..Those trees look more flat than loli anime girls, and the colouring on Flora is just all.. inconsistent and shitty. My dark broun pencil seriously is not made for.. usage (lol)

Judging from all the positive feedback you are recieving on this piece-you should allow yourself some satisfaction in your skills-they ARE improving!
This is so much more eye-catching then the first rendition that you posted.
The strongest parts,to me at least-is the wonderfull enviornment you have placed your character in-lush and full of vibrant life!
The realism will improve over time.
Keep at it-you are on the right path in your endevours!!!!

I don't know.. I kinda enjoy the praise, but still I feel like this drawing at least doesn't really deserve it.. Too big of an effort, and too disappointing of an end result. In my opinion at least....
And yeah.. I guess even if the colouring is pretty bad, it does it least catch some attention.. So.. I agree there.. hm..
But well. I guess it is true with the realism improvement over time.. For now I am not really satisfied with the environment yet, but maybe with a bit more practice on plants n'shit, I can get something cool done c:

There are always some elements that we are discouraged from our own work-things that we see in our creative minds that just do not add up the way we invision them in our imagination...
As artists all we can do is to continue the endless journey of improvement by practice to sharpen those blurry edges into something so breathtaking and vivid that we ourselves are astonished by what we may one day achieve.
It sounds like your ambition is outpacing your current skill level-and I get it-it took me yearssssssss to get any where near simple satisfaction.
Most of the time I finish a piece I am left wanting more...to be better,to be cooler,,,....that is the curse of the true artisan-to NEVER be fully satisfied!
It is our lot in life it seems!lol
Do not let these things get you down-try instead to reapply ones self,perhaps take a break or better yet-try something totally off the grid and new art-wise that may add another demension to your skills palette!
We are all rooting for you!

That is something that puts me off from this drawing though... Didn't really catch her youth and cuteness.. She looks more like .. I don't know. She simply doesn't really look right to me..
Still it is nice that you enjoy her this way.

I think it looks fairly shitty here because my dark brown pencil is crap, but you are right that it helps for being able to have Flora poke out of the scenery...

Hm... Yeah well, I don't really use references for poses honestly.. Maybe I should try that.. It may help me get my drawings to feel more organic and close to life...
I have just kinda made it my thing to simply draw everything out of my head lol... We'll see..
