Description
A drawing of Tidus and Yuna based on the Final Fantasy X-3 sketches that Tetsuya Nomura released. The drawing was done using a combination of coloured pencils, pens and Copic markers.

Final Fantasy is my favourite video game franchise - with Final Fantasy X being one of the standouts in the main line titles. While Final Fantasy X-2 was definitely fun in some regards it fell short in terms of its story and emotional impact when compared to Final Fantasy X, in my opinion. When I discovered Nomura's concept sketches, I was initially drawn to how cool Tidus and Yuna looked but I also appreciated how much they had appeared to have matured based on their expressions and design. Though there is no official news on the development of Final Fantasy X-3 - if it ever happens - I wanted to take the opportunity to create my own iterations of the character designs and add some colour. I included visual easter eggs that reference the first two games such as a blitzball, the 'Brotherhood' sword as well as Yuna's staff and gun.

I like how it turned out and hopefully Final Fantasy X-3 will one day be a reality.
