Description i love to go there!
this tree is standing on top of the hill.
and if i say on top, i mean it.
if you would go a few steps forward, there is just nothing.
the view is amazing, you can see a lot from up there.
it was a very calm, sunny and foggy afternoon.
a pretty good weather to go outside for some shots.

hope you enjoy it
--
p.s. lol they should invent a "treescape" category for me one day sorry for another tree shot from me i just love to go outside and take shots in my neighbourhood, which is mostly surrounded by woodland

Leaves something to the imagination. I like the mysterious quality! Wonderful how you got the tree branch to "cradle" the sun This also reminds me I need to get out more (of course we were just hit by two blizzards...)

For me what works best is the colour / light balance and composition. There is a subtle radial symmetry formed by the leaves which complements the circular and central light source. You've cropped back just enough to pick up the leaves on either side. The bottom foreground bare shrub branches point to the sun while the tree branches above tend to arch over it. This gives a softer emotion (largely subconscious I would think) to the shot. More complex than first appears. Good work.

This is really gorgeous. The lighting is outstanding, I love your "tree shots" I especially think that the colors and fog work well together so you were right on the money taking these shots, really you have an eye for things like this.

Another beautiful photograph from a talented photographer.
