Again my apologies for the quality of the photo... I should buy a scanner, I know.A young black lab named Arie.. she's awesome. And so is her owner.
HB and 4B pencil on lousy sketchbook paper... I think 4 hrs? (I should really keep track of my time better!)

Thank you! I don't think 4 hrs is a lot of patience though... been working on my current portrait for 8 (hoping I'll be done at 10) and THAT is where I lose track of the patience thing haha..
