Do you remember Chicken Man on the radio? It started a long time ago but has been re-run on so many stations I thought everyone must have heard it.

It started back in the 1960s, and it is hard to describe. It was a series on the radio about a crime fighter named Chicken Man (the white winged warrior) here's a link to an episode on youtube:

Remember on the radio you would not see the video - I found it better to just close my eyes and listen, and it all came back like the old days. It was similar kind of humor to Rocky and Bullwinkle with all sorts of strange things going on. At the start you'll hear Chickennnnn Mannnnn. Most of them were pretty funny.

Well that was well before my time. Dad didn't know anything about and he was born in the mid '50s.

Reminds me of the show, "A Christmas Story" about that kid that wanted the Bee-Bee gun. In one of the scenes he sits down in front of the radio listens the "Little Orphan Annie."

It was pretty popular in Chicago and I heard it had spread around. While I was searching for Chickenman info I found someone selling the entire 273 (!) episode collection for $129. I thought it was funny but I'm not sure if it is $129 funny today. Each episode was only about 2 minutes long.

Even in my youngest days we had television, although it was B&W. My grandparents didn't have TV but they did have one of those old huge radios that people used to sit around and listen to.

Whooooo, what a hottie! You're so lucky to get to go to Woodward. I've never even thought about getting near a car event that big.
