Description
A concept of a Master magician and his Apprentice. Made from a normal sketch and colored in GIMP. Any critique is welcome!EDIT: Colored it some more in Photoshop. Complete rookie in PS, though

There is an artist among my friends who can get wonderfully soft blending. She suggested using one of the soft sponge brushes, and very low density. That takes away the flat paint brush feel. It is also a process that requires patience. I honestly am horrible at it. I will find her and link you to her tutorial. :~}

The apprentice's ungloved arm looks to be at a bit of an uncomfortable angle, but overall I really love this piece! <3 It's got a great nostalgic and fantastic feel.

I think you're right. I wanted the arm behind her, holding the tongs away, but the picture would look much better with her arm at a more relaxed position. Thank you

Yup. You collect experience as you play and as you build up your strength, health, etc, your character gets physically bigger... and bigger... and less, and less attractive if female

You know, there are some people in REAl life that are really good in fighting and don't look bulky at all. So I might say you wouldn't lose your femine body completely when you start to train, it's a question of how you do it.
I'm kind of baffled why they didn't do that.

I know. I have a pretty strong body and used to lift a lot of weights, but I was still ridiculously tiny. Fable is a wonderful game, but that is its major flaw.

Very well done. As to complete, only you can say that for sure. I would be interested though to see a short series where apprentice becomes master in turn. However it goes though I really like this.
