Description Ok....here is the finished scanned inks of a fantastically penciled 2 page spread by


The piece consists of a crossover between three separate studios: featuring characters hailing from Franchesco's FRESCO Studio; Dan Sehn's ARGO 5 Comics; and Pat Carlucci's HOT INKS. Pat Carlucci's Estate kindly granted permission to include his creations in the piece...

I am so deeply honoured to have had the opportunity to ink over Franchesco's lines....I really enjoyed this collab
I used a .3 and .7 staedtler pens for this. Enjoy!

It was sheer pleasure and joy to collab with him. He was super supportive and would i love to do more in the future That being said, two page spreads are insane!! This took me so man hours

crud... good catch... gonna haveta update it asap James
(in the meantime... kinda visualized the background characters totally desaturated, so they are there, just not all up in yo' face per se. Helping the piece have less of a "bowl of jellybeans effect" (random colors through out) So maybe just the main characters would have 'actual' colors, for lack of a better term.)

Your thoughts on the Demon? I pictured him red... kinda like Hellboy
(I've only seen a lineart drawing of him)

I thought red at first also but some of the main characters have alot of red also, I went with a brownish green just so he stood out

I'm thinking red as well, hellboy with some tim curry from legend (lol), it'll pull from the surrounding character costumes too...The BG guys are probably going to all be desatted(?) like you said, and I'll just make some $#!+ up for the few that have any decent detail...
