you'll get what you want if you work hard for it! I believe in everything being open to everyone, you just have to want it...

your secret is one of the coolest I've seen, aesthetically.
I love it!
so, just by seeing your secret, I think you'd be good at a number of artistic things. one would be making logos for companies, things like that. don't give up!

The fact that you think you aren't good enough probably is a sign that you are.
Also, (not that this will necessarily help you feel better about your skills) having a career in art has much less to do with one's abilities as it does with being in the right place at the right time.

There are so many options in artistic jobs! Don't tie yourslf down to painter, try web design, or hairdresser, house interiors perhaps? Widen your options!

Oi, I feel the same way. But art is something that can be done on the side, and it could eventually blossom into a career.

I saw a quote somewhere,
"Good artists are the crappy ones who didn't give up."
This is why I like looking at the back of great people's galleries, to show myself that I can improve.

'art' can be a very relative thing- alot can depend on someones opinion or ideas. Which means that while you may not think you're good, there are plenty of people that will think your great. do what you like ot do, practise, and always keep learning.

There are lots of artists out there that think that they aren't good enough. It almost comes with being an artist, although I have met a few with a MAJOR god complex. But what I have noticed is that a lot of the time it isn't about an artist's skill level when it comes to their success, it's their tenacity. The artists that keep trying and keep learning and keep putting themselves out there, whether they are told or think that they are good or not, are the one that make it. Sometimes you just have to hold your chin up.

Well considering you made a secret that's more aesthetically pleasing than 90% of them, I'd say you're good to go.

The way I see it on here is, you're only GOOD at art if you get paid for it/have received a DD. Unfortunately, I'm doing neither. I'd lovelovelove to have a job in art, but the furthest I can branch out is literally just on a teaching level.

That, there, is nonsense. There are some artists that are world famous and probably suck more than you. I mean, people get famous splattering paint on a canvas. Warhol made people pee on a wall and called it art. Don't give up on it. Art has such broad possibilities.
