would you feel better or worse, if you didn't know that your friend was dead? I mean what if it just seemed like they dropped off the face of the earth, and you could never find out why...
this is something I used to worry about when I was in love with someone over the internet, and when I had good riends aswell... I'm just happy you know

The best advice short from a lecture from me would be to tell someone that you trust, someone that you feel doesn't judges you, and don't feel you're alone, because even if whoever you go to doesn't exactly know what it's like, emotional pain is a universal language. "They're in a better place" barely ever sheds comfort, but you should know that wherever people go when they pass on, is an enigma. There's no use beating yourself up over it, just like there's no use beating yourself up over not telling them that you cared, and that you loved them, because they already knew. People are much more intuitive then many give them credit for. They knew. They cared and loved you too and I'm sure deep down you know that too. & People only physically die, if you allow yourself to, they can live on as long as you. They'll always be there with you, in memory, in love, and in the traits you've absorbed from them. You're free to note me too if you'd like. & I'm really sorry for the loss.

I saw this and though of Nick Nischan. His life touched so many people but he died so young. I had the privilege of driving him around and laughing with him. I loved those days.
