I used to have a friend who believed she wasn't beautiful. Being like almost every other girl on the planet (or at least America) I would say "at least you're prettier than me." Her and I used to go on and on like this for at least thirty minutes. The sad thing is, I would begin to believe I was crud. I hated myself and almost had an eating disorder. I thought I had to put on tons of makeup just to hide my ugliness.
Now we're no longer friends and I truely believe I am beautiful. I hope the person this secret was written for will believe they are beautiful. Just like that rose, their beauty is unmatched.

If someone lies about something that's truely important, it can tear you apart inside and out. I know that personally, and the hardest thing in the world is to believe again afterwards...
But keep trying, keep telling her she's beautiful, and one day she'll probably start learning to trust and believe people again. ^^
