This photo grabed my attention. It is quite sharp, nicely exposed and I like the detail. There are a few suggestions I would like to give however. The first thing is that I think it would look better if it were cropped as a square just to eliminate all the empty space on the sides and that way putting more focus on the cranes head. I just feel my eyes looking away from the crane too much that's all e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" />Another thing is just for next time if possible to crouch down just a little lower to the cranes height as you seem to be just slightly above. I don't know what the circumstances were though. One more thing that distracts me though is the fence in the background, I keep wanting to look at it. I did notice you had it at f/11, I would recommend it being a smaller number such as f/5.6 to get a better DOF so it would have blurred that fence more e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" />Other than that I quite like this one and hope the critique helps. Keep up the great work e.deviantart.net/emoticons/b/b… " width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Big Grin)" />

Critique? Don't use F/11 for a portrait shot 'specially not in a zoo, those fences are nasty :3
