First and foremost, Happy Nightmare Night to all of you, especially to those who ALWAYS celebrate them :3 Personally, I never did, but "Luna Eclipsed" showed my how awesome it actually is XDSeeing quite a number of groups hosting so many events and contests regarding Nightmare Night, and some ideas from friends here and there, (namely darksword765, NanamiUndTico, Ruby-Hooves and many others XP) I've decided to take it on with the idea of a haunted house ^-^ (I mean you gotta try right? ;D).
Scootaloo-Bat pony, cuz it's such a rave, plus she looks awesome that way XD Applebloom -Timber wolf, got the idea from Granny Smith's encounter when she was young and of course, when the mane six were trying to fool Spike ^,^ (rather messy T.T, hope you guys catch it)
Sweetie Belle -Princess, cuz I'm pretty sure Rarity would fix something magnificent for her. Such a great sister ^-^
This piece is apparently one of those in which I poured a great amount of effort into. AND as usual, hope you guys like it! Once again, happy Nightmare Night, have a blast yo! Oh! And hey! I had an apple while doing this cuz it's Applejack's month, have one as well as a tribute!

Hmm, I still wonder if Twilight will stay permanently like this?
It's not that I mind the idea and it would fit to the plot the best when she would stay an Alicorn and a princess, but since I heard that she becomes an Alicorn (I got spoilered about it long before I saw the episode -.-) I wonder if Twilight wants to stay like that.
I know that she trusts Celestia and her decisions, but this transformation comes also with big changes and a very big burden, so, maybe she decides that she wants to become a normal unicorn and that this life is nothing for her?
Or, another theory that just came to me now:
If there is a higher purpose for Twilight than just become a princess or maybe the next ruler of Equestria, a much bigger plan that Celestia has with her, is it then maybe just a new friendship test for Twilight to make a princess of her?
Maybe Celestia just wants to see if she would make the right decision, after becoming a princess, which is, turning her back to be a princess and her Alicorn status, so she could stay with her friends, and so, much more important, she doesn't have to watch them all die, while she lives longer and longer without getting a bit older?
There are so many new ways to continue the plot with this, I'm really excited what will happen now!

You're dropping some really deep science on me yo, but I must say, all that you've just stated might be true as well. Then again, being a princess with all of them royal responsibilities is gonna be tough. But hey! The magic of friendship is still on her side ^-^
All doubts shall be relieved of in the advent of season 4 XD So fret not!
And yeah, I too got spoilered about Twilight being an alicorn before witnessing that particular episode. Dang I despise spoilers, what with EQD flooding with all of them synopsis of season 4 and stuff, I'm gonna just pass ;D

It's overwhelming, the most epic thing that ever happened in MLP: FiM and you will probably fall from your chair from surprise when you see the opener!

I for one stopped after we got the synopsis and the first short promo, except the short abstract from the script of E1 and one picture.
There were two other promos released so far and the first one was described by Sethisto as "groundbreaking".
But I haven't looked at them and will not.
One short promo is fine, but three? And one that is "groundbreaking"?

And I have read some comments now about this promos and they are all just like "HNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG" and expressing in thousand other different ways how awesome it is.
Slowly I start to get curious to look at this promo's, but I have to resist! I just have to!

You pulled this off pretty well, my friend. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of shading. Some of my art has a bit of...not too noticeable shading areas here and here, but how you made this and the house and Mourning Wood (dead tree) look ominous just makes me reminise about the spirit of scarinf the everlasting f*muffin* out of little kids. XD

The background and shading are most impressive. Sometimes it's a little tricky to get a good amount of depth in a drawing with nothing but ink, but you pulled it off quite nicely. I also love Sweetie Belle's expression. Very well done!
