I wonder if Tron will be the same in the next movie. Not sure if he's derezzed due to the shockwave caused by Flynn reincorporating Clu back into himself or if he survived, whether he's active on Sam's phone or stored on the card.

There will certainly be some future for Tron, either surviving or they write in a new version, you can't have Tron without him.
Suppose its difficult with Bruce Boxleitner being 60 and for Legacy they had to use CGI & a body double for Tron & Rinzler.
That's unless they decide to make Flynn Legacy or such & for that matter, is Kevin Flynn really gone. I'd not say dead, because the events in a digital world can't be predicted.
I'm looking forward to what they come up with next, as I hear it, they've already got ideas for the next installment.

I saw the movie and everyone's suit was black except the select few who wore white. But they all had color in them as well. Tron's suit had orange on it when he was helping Clu. Once he landed in that water after crashing his light-jet he turned blue again. What I was trying to say was you need to brighten the blue some.

There's talks about Tron 3, but depends on cinema outings, which is currently actually lower than Disney wants.
Also, Tron in Legacy, is a copy, so even if he died, he should be still on ENCOM's system and fact you can't have TRON without TRON being in it, unless its a Spinoff, like Flynn Legacy.

Let's hope so because I REALLY liked Legacy. It's made 180 mil worldwide so far and it cost 170 mil. Not mention upcoming DVD and Blue-Ray sales. Maybe It didn't do what Disney predicted but It's in no way a flop or anything. *crosses fingers*

Yeah, I'm hoping 3 goes ahead soon. The new generation Sam Flynn, Quorra & Cillian Murphy's cameo as Edward Dillinger point to a continuation.
Kevin's & Tron's fates are unknown, though like I said before, Tron was a copy & its easy to have a new Tron like Clu 2.
Without spoiling the plot, have to remember what Sam does when he leaves the grid.
