I desperately wish this would become a film, however, Mister Salinger was VERY adamant on this not becoming a film, he turned down Sam Goldwyn, Jerry Lewis, Jack Nicholson, Marlon Brando, Billy Wilder, and the team of Harvey Weinstein and Steven Spielberg. Salinger's estate and his agent have said that, per Salinger's written permission and the wishes of his family, that such an adaptation is very unlikely.
However, when I look this picture, it makes me believe that such an adaptation is hopeful and it enlightens my mind at the very concept! Good Job, my friend!
