Description In Greek mythology, the Sirens were dangerous bird-women, portrayed as seductresses who lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island.

I missed doing portraits. Managed to finish this one pretty fast, although I procrastinated a lot. Hope you guys like it! Comments and criticism most appreciated

Again, the face gives exactly the feeling which would suit my notion of a siren. ^^ I start to wonder how you're doing this....

EXCELLENT work! Did a great job on everything. The gold dust/leaf effect on her face is really cool too.

Critiques....can only see one thing (and I had to look hard anything out of place) Her thumb. I tried putting my thumb in that position and ouch. Then again, we're dealing with non-human or hybrid anatomy so that might be normal. I don't know. I hate saying it though because the rest of the work is soooooo good.

You're very welcome!

I only bring up stuff like that to try and help others improve. (God knows I need to improve myself) And I'm not good at doing hands myself at all, so that's probably why I noticed it. I'm so used to looking for hand mistakes in my own pictures.

Thinking of getting a small mirror for just that purpose. That way at least my characters finger bones won't be curved. O.O (some of my early fists looked like pretzels)

Anyway, I hope it helps in some small way.

The green shading gives a mysterious yet dangerous touch. And her face is beautifully round-shaped and the way her eyes are widely separated from each other she doesn't look totally human. A very nice peace of art.
