Time for one of these things. Tbh this year had a lot of art style change. ALONG WITH SEVERAL USERNAME CHANGES.*

In January all I cared about was how pretty my art would look. Like, I was aiming for a basic, glossy anime style coloring. The basic stuff.

I wasn't very good at it, so around February I dropped it. I went on to draw with thick lines and flat colors. I started doing tiny animations, things such as blinking and talking motions. I also started drawing my OC's with slightly different features other than the classic Same Face™.

In March I spent most of my time playing Stardew Valley but I guess somewhere in the middle of that I drew Weiss?? I mean it came out really nice. I experimented with coloring style, a kind of basic but low-key shaded kind of style. The thing that amazes me about the Weiss drawing is that I used thin lines and omfg I never use thin lines and holy shit I wish I still used lines that thin.

April. Holy shit April. April must have been the best month this year because I drew so much. I had a hard time picking out one picture tbh, but I went with the Roxy entry I did for the WLF Fan Forge. I'm not good at foreshortening, but I managed to make it work for this one and it looks good! April brought out one of my Signature Styles which is really cool bc it's a personal art style, one that I now use all the time. I also did a couple Homestuck styled gifs.

May was one of the worst months for me irl. Most of my art energy went towards some stupid English project. But It was around this time that I realized that I have a clothing style. I draw clothes a certain way; Like, when I was drawing Chidori's clothes, I saw it. I noticed the way I draw clothes, it's more minimalist, it has less folds.

June. June was kinda dry art-wise because I still had school: credit recovery. I did another talking animation with a changing background and that took me a long ass time for some reason. I did a couple character memes n stuff. The trees were just a test run on some neat way to draw trees that I came up with and it came out looking pretty cool. And then Voltron was also in the background lol.

July. Omfg this was when Voltron was The Shit, The Good Shit. I drew Keith bc his jacket is, like, my aesthetic. I tried that basic but low-key shaded style here, but this time with pixel lines. This one was drawn while streaming on Picarto. I panic a little when I stream. The Pokemon au Pidge was also drawn in July. That one came out really cool too. Also Pokemon Go.

August. Voltron is still The Shit and I got one of my friends to watch it with me. And of course, just like other shows we watch, the squad Voltron AU happened. August was the fucking best because I got so good at drawing different poses-- more variety. This was also when I found out that I'm actually pretty good at drawing mecha stuff. Lots of Tapastic posting. I got Overwatch at the end of the month so there wasn't much art at the end.

Ok real talk September was a fucking dry ass desert in terms of art. I drew n o t h i n g. I spent literally all my time playing OW. It was the end of the month when I was like "oh fuck I didn't draw anything this month for the art meme thing." All I had done was sketch D.Va lmao.

October. The OW Halloween update happened and I reached level 101+. In between playing I drew a couple things for my slice-of-life Tapastic comic, including this cover. This one I really like bc I'm getting better at different poses.

November. Nothing, nothing, nothing. All I did was work work work work work work. When I wasn't working, I was playing OW. Sombra came out on the 4th, so of course I was playing even more. I even got more games; Pokemon Moon, 7 Days to Die, and so on.

And finally December. Still working non stop. The OW Christmas update is currently going and I'm playing a bunch. Got even more games. I drew Jen in a short strip as a warm up for what's coming soon. I mentioned ages ago a Dloid revamp and here it is, it's almost here. The year ends in a couple days and I'll be spending these last couple days working every fucking day i fucking hate my job. (I picked this one bc I know I won't have time to draw anymore this month.)
