I love the vignette-look to this photo. It really makes me focus on the lighthouse itself and then I look at the background. I really like how the lighthouse isn't in the center of the frame. I'm so glad that you placed it slightly to the right because I think that makes this image look even more interesting. I also love the textures created by the tones in the sky compared to the water below. It creates such a rich contrast.
I get a sense of a very alien-like world in this photo. The black and white with the nontraditional-looking lighthouse looks so surreal, especially since the lighthouse is so bright. Very awesome stuff and a great, original photo!
