I dunno, yet ANOTHER idea that sprung up. This particular plot bunny will only exist to entertain my mind when I want to be distracted, and to pass the time by coming up with backstories and the like.

It all started with the idea of Shadow from a different dimension. New world, new rules, new personality.

...then it snowballed.

Sonic goes on an interdemensional journey for....some reason....and interacts with a few familiar faces. It holds a lot of similarity to Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles. (I love that manga)

So, Shadow's new character is a hedgehog called Ghoster. Ghoster grew up in an orphanage, but ran away and scratched a living on the streets at age 10. The streets sharpened his wits and skills, but he remembered the kindness he'd been taught by the orphanage teacher, Miss Kudoi(Vanilla the Rabbit). So, when he bumped into Whip, he convinced him to work together and start a kind of 'home' concealed in the slums.

Whip, who had been hardened by the difficult livestyle of the streets, didn't trust Ghoster at first, but was shortly convinced of Ghoster's honesty, and followed his lead almost without question. He barely complained when Ghoster started rescuing other kids off the streets to join their 'family'. (Heh, you can totally see Shadow cuddling with, like, 5 kids can't you? )

The social situation is that everyone lives in districts, and many districts are run by gangs, with the gang boss at the head. Whip was nearly beaten to death by some gang henchmen who caught him stealing food.
Then, Ghoster was taken in by a rich old lady(namelessm cause I dun care ^^) and was given it all. Ghoster used his sudden rise in society to help his 'family' as much as possible.

And then some weird, nude hedgehog falls out of the sky, calls Ghoster and Whip some odd names, and passes out in a ditch.

...apparantly, I've given this a lot of thought huh?
All back story aside, it's fun designing a different person than the original.
For some reason, Ghoster's body would only work with me if I drew the clothles first, and then the limbs. Weird.
Can't say the same about Whip tho! (eyes pelvis) He turned out so good! They both did.

Anyway...wow, I wrote a lot...enjoy my brain exercises. I have another character from this universe coming up.
