This is beautiful, by which I mean beautifully rendered. Cthulhu on the other hand is not even close to being beautiful. Another wondrous piece from and amazing artist!

I find it interesting about how you portrayed him with horns. It dives him a devilish undertone. Mighty fine job, if I may say so.

Fantastic! I love the blue veins of water, the pure color really sets off the warms above it!

Hey Dan,
Would you mind telling me how you get such a "smooth" feel to every painting, is it some sort of medium or technique?
I'm very curious I can never get that result, you pull it off clean.

Masonite always comes out really smooth. I use more glazing on that. With canvas I'll use Liquin to thin down the paint to get a smoother look. Plus using a larger canvas helps. The smaller you go the harder it is to pull that off.

Thanks a lot for your response,
Could you point me in the right direction of what to use as far as liquin / varnish / what to use for glazing?
As you know these products are not cheap, I'd like to get the best product for the money without wasting to much in trial and error.
Sorry if I'm pestering you with all of these questions but when I go to look for anything I get hit with a cluster-fuck of all kinds of different shit and don't know where to turn.
I don't mean to use you as google, but the thing with that is, some people use this, some use that, you know your shit so I wanted to ask you first hand.

I can't thank you enough for helping me out and answering fans Dan, very admirable of you.
I'll try to help you out and purchase your book once I set up a Paypal account, I'm sure it's awesome.
Would you mind if I e-mailed you some pictures of paintings I've done, so you can give me some insight, advice or critique, or would that be too weird?
