Really like the detail of certain areas, and the colors add a lot of contrast. Looks fantastic!!

I'm quite desperate for this as a print. I'm talking to my tattoo artist about using this as a back piece - with your permission of course.

This is briliant! One of your best, I think.
Do you have any idea why you usually chosse to paint faces? I'm not criticizing, just wondering: why a face? I'm interested because I drew some myself, and never figured what exactly pushed me to choose that particular subject... There must be a reason. Maybe you know?

Fun only is a good reason, of course.
What I meant was more about your decision to draw a face instead of anything else (landscape, still life, etc.). I believe there might be a deep psychological motive behind (e.g. what the artists thinks of himself, identification to the face, need to communicate emotions through a facial expression...).
Your faces being monstruous and angry could also translate an anger you keep inside and have to channel through your paintings (at least it works for me)... Anyway, I don't wanna bother you with stuff you don't care about. Let the point be to have fun, no more.
Don't know why you pretend not being good at it, cause honestly, they're all really cool.

Wow, absolutely incredible! I adore the details, the dark colors, and how the claws are dripping with sticky blood. Just amazing!

you are very welcome, good artists are worth the effort of at least a structurally formed compliment.

Hell yes. This is nightmare inducing. God those fingers are so sickly rigid and perfect. As if rigor mortis had partially set in. Inspiring, great work.

This is awesome! How long does it take for your oil paintings to dry?

Thanks man. It depends on a lot of different things. What I paint on, what colors I use and so on. I finished this a few days ago and it's dry but one I had finished a few months ago is still tacky! Canvas usually dries quicker than masonite. If I use a lot of liquin mixed in my paint it will dry pretty quick too. Black tends to take a while to dry. So, I guess it varies from piece to piece.

Ahhh... ok... Thnx for the info... I was thinking of using oil paints cause I like the way the piece looks, rather then using acrylic.

No sweat man. Yeah, acrylics have always given me trouble. I feel rushed with them.
