Kyloom. A mysterious planet in the Crux arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. Bathed in the dim light of it's white dwarf star, the environment has rapidly changed over the past few millennium causing most of the indigenous life to die out. The exact date at which the star will flicker out is not precisely known, but massive conservation efforts have been put in place to gather specimens and DNA from the endangered lifeforms. The immense database is being stored in a facility on one of the planets largest moons, Boropi.
