eeeeeee! Nina and Kariki now have a little baby girl!  A freckled little baby girl!!!

Apologies once again to SuperSmashWolves who had to endure my bipolar levels of indecisiveness when it came to her design. lol

Expanding a bit on the description there, let me just say she's a very energetic little girl, with very good hearing skills, a very bad memory, and who looooooves to swim and to basically be in/under/close to water. She can run pretty fast and swim even more so, but because she's easily distracted she might either trip or get lost easily, so better watch out. If she's been gone on her own for some time, it probably means she's lost and she might not even realize she is yet. Basically, never ask her to lead you anywhere, there's a 99% chance you will both be lost.

She loves a challenge and can get quite competitive if she gets into it, which makes her a bit of a sore loser, but it's never personal and she gets over it quickly. She's quite eager to learn new things, but learning anything new might take a few more classes than predicted, since one moment she'll be "Ooooh lets learn about this interesting new plant--- OMG FIREFLY! LOOK AT IT!". a bit like Dory in Finding Nemo in that way... and many other ways XD

She loves all kinds of creatures and has problems telling friend from foe, she'll try to befriend pretty much anything, from an ant to a bear, which can be good or bad depending on the situation. That might come across as bravery on occasions, and while she can be brave, mostly it's just that she's oblivious to the point of not actually noticing she's in any danger.

However, when she sets her mind to something, whether it's a competition of some sort, or helping out friends or loved ones, her focus turn to 100%!

So that's Iara. XD Oh! And to anyone who likes to know these things, that name comes from Brazilian folklore. There a few different versions of the story, but the one I remember is: Iara (ee-ARE-ah) was a native Brazilian, a warrior, best in her tribe (GIRL POWER!) and very beautiful. Her brothers were jealous of her and tried to sneak into her tent at night and kill her, but she had a very good hearing and heard them coming and killed them, then ran away. After a relentless search for her, she is eventually captured, and as punishment for the murders (even though it was self-defense! What the hell, dude!), her father threw her into the river to drown, but the fish swam to her and brought her to the surface, then turned her into a mermaid.

A river mermaid seemed pretty fitting for a Mais.   So Mais!Iara's personality doesn't really have anything to do with folklore!Iara's (plus, in the legend she had green hair so ), but still I do like the name. ^^
