Piercing your ears, putting on makeup, killing your hair, undergoing plastic surgery, eating disorders, drugs, cutting, suicide.How much does it take to feel "pretty?"
As a normal girl, I know what it feels like to be called "fat" or "ugly." I know what it feels like to be made fun of for your appearance. But no matter how much acne you have on your face, or how many extra pounds you may have- as long as you mean the best for everyone around you, you are beautiful.
I drew and uploaded this to raise awareness for those who look in the mirror and judge themselves based on the distorted images of beauty the media portrays.
And if you feel like trying any of this, I also know how you feel. But please, don't. If not for you, for the people who love and need you. You are gorgeous in the eyes of at least one person, and that's what matters.

Some people for example think that there nose is to big or to small and have to have a plastic surgery enen though they look very nice. Also very young people damage there skin using makeup. These days are a horror. Also, amazing picture.

This is really deep; the idea of beauty has been horribly skewed, and this is a beautiful portrayal of what's happened and the horror that lies beneath "beauty". I really needed to see this. I think lots of people do. Its a wonderful piece.

Wonderful job. This is so right. I never judge someone from their appearance, but from their personality. But then again, I don't judge people, I only 'see' them. After all, everyone is unique in their own way.

Right to the heart...this was something I probably really needed to see/read because my self esteem concerning my appearance is usually at rock bottom. Beautiful work as always and a wonderful message.

I have 12 ear piercings plus an industrial bar. I must admit I feel naked without them and never leave the house without having all of my earrings in. It is kind of an image thing for me, so I can relate on that aspect. Very nice picture, and a wonderful inspiring message too, it certainly pertains to a lot of people.
