It's so hard to try and look good. All the tools and processes that go into making a model or an actress beautiful are not very glamourous at all. In fact, it's sort of disgusting. This is a piece barking out against the pointless act of make up. Sometimes, being beautiful hurts, which is symbolized in the pulling of the eyelid. It's unnatural and painful.The only real manipulation is my eye to its funny color. It almost looked brown, so I made it all the way brown, but then I decided a funky turquoise would compliment the blue eyeshadow better.
Sorry it's so small, I didn't realize the camera was set on 3M instead of 6M.

I'm combing my eyelashes because I put glompy blue mascara on them, the tissue keeps the smudges from getting on my eyebrows and eyelid.

I think if you re-shoot it that you should tilt the comb so it's more easily identified. I had a hard time figuring out what exactly was happening as well

Nothing is real in photoshop. Everything is possible. Change anything you can think of. Do things that are not possible in real life!

This is a really interesting photo!
It really does present the idea you described and more. The colour of the eye is very attention grabbing.
Just a pity about it being so small. This would have been excellent if the viewer could make out all the subtle details of the eye, eyelashes and even the tissue paper!
It's a great idea and well executed photo tho, don't get me wrong. You should develope this more i think, oh and frame it! he he

I may try to reshoot it a higher resolution. This was even cropped from a larger portion of the face that just didn't flow with the idea. What a shame. But it would be mighty hard to get the same angle and... well, you know, doing something over again is always different.
Thanks for your thoughts though.
