Have you tried stopping down one or two steps though? I do like blurry backgrounds, but I think it'd look even better if your eyes and your hairline were both sharp at the same time

I didn't mean to _address_ you with "boy", I just wanted to use it as emphasis. Like when I say something like "Jesus, it's hot today" I'm not addressing whoever I'm talking to as "Jesus". But I guess using "boy" like that really only works when talking to ... boys/men. My bad. My native language isn't English and while I pride myself in thinking I have a good intuitive understanding of colloquialisms/phrases/linguistic constructs, it's certainly not what I would call excellent. And it lets me down every so often when I try to actively use them. I guess I should probably stick to "damn" for emphasis in the future
Regarding the rest...
You're probably right there too. "Have you tried stopping down" suggests that I assumed you were taking the pictures yourself. Which, while not impossible, is quite hard and not what I assumed.
So let me try again: Have you tried asking whoever takes your pictures to stop down one or two steps?
