Feeling far more sadness then anger at what she must do--after all, Anpu's actions did lead to the unification of Tawy into a single land under a single ruler, which would be for the good of all--Queen Auset decides to invoke her power as the Daughter of the Sun. Though normally one who had done as Anpu would be executed, Auset regarded slaying the disgraced prince as Tawy losing a valuable resource. Instead, Auset came up with an entirely different punishment. Since he had committed his heinous act in order to establish a unified kingdom, he would be eternally bound in service to the Throne he'd helped create.
