The Cumnor Monster, Pliosaurus macromerus.

Estimated size at 13 m, 20 tonnes by McHenry in his 2009 thesis about pliosaurs, making it the largest confirmed pliosaur.

Though it appears the 3 m mandible could be way too much reconstructed, resulting in an animal just comparable to Kronosaurus (11 m).

According to my one of the good paleo artists, Harry the Fox, he said that they were probably 14-15 meters long.

Sea scorpions are Paleozoic, the Cretaceous had mosasaurs.

But yes, you would not want to pull ANY of the three onto your boat.

Ergo the reason I never became a paleontologist Β

I'd love to be able to go back in time and get some video footage of all those creatures. Β

Best wishes for you and your family, Amin
