So... here it is: my Blood Moon Akali cosplay. I can't believe it's finally done! A couple of years ago my bf showed me the splash art of this skin, and well, I fell in love. I was really impressed, and a month after that I started playing LoL. Since the very beginning Akali caught my attention, and when I played with her I couldn't help thinking about cosplaying the Blood Moon skin -which I own-. Besides I LOVE Ionia and the lore related to Akali, Zed and Shen, so I started the cosplay!
I spent MANY hours painting the waves of her kimono (you can see it here www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbi… as well as other work in progress) and I put so much effort into this cosplay. I know it's not perfect, in fact I want to improve some parts (I finished her kamas at 5:30 am, a few hours before the con) and I will, however I'm really happy with the result. Hope you like it, guys!!

Pueees... aquí está: mi cosplay de Blood Moon Akali. ¡No me puedo creer que esté terminado! Hace un par de años mi novio me enseñó el splash art de esta skin, y bueno, me enamoré. Me impresionó mucho, y un mes después empecé a jugar al LoL. Desde el primer momento Akali me llamó la atención, Y cuando jugué con ella no pude evitar pensar que quería hacer cosplay de la skin de Luna Sangrienta -la cual tengo-. Además me ENCANTA Ionia y todo el lore relacionado con Akali, Zed y Shen, ¡así que empecé el cosplay!
Invertí MUCHAS horas pintando las olas del kimono (podéis verlo aquí www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbi… así como otros procesos) y me he esforzado mucho con este cosplay. Sé que no está perfecto, de hecho quiero mejorar algunas partes (terminé los kamas a las 5:30 am, unas pocas horas antes de Expomanga) y lo haré, sin embargo estoy contenta con el resultado. ¡¡Espero que os guste!!

Yeah, sure! First I cut the blades of the kamas in a huge foam core board (like this 1.bp.blogspot.com/_IUuOmI9OSJo… . Then I attached a large stick and covered the blades and the sticks with polyurethane foam. After that I carved it with a cutter and then covered the blades with 2-3 layers of paper mache. Once it was dry I used this www.pinturaspalacios.com/produ… (which is some kind of putty) in the blades. Then I sanded it (however the blades weren't enough sanded due to the lack of time), added the details with eva foam and painted the whole kamas :3 In my fb page www.facebook.com/pages/Dids-Ra… you can find some wip, and if you're interested I can submit some progress pictures ^^

Fiction’s just a dream, but this truth comes in a totally different sense now ‘cause everything’s fiction, and we are the ones who choose what to believe in.
Five days ago I wrote these three sentences in The Manhattan Universe, and I was deeply impressed by the beauty of this picture and the context of your visionary performance. So many things happen in the world right now, and maybe it's the multitude of visions that make up not just for the bigger but for the real big picture that's able to enthrall us all, teaching us about the incredible powers hidden within every body. We are vessels of the divine, and this we shouldn't forget.
