well its really a mix of things, main reason pap Rome took care of him after his mother Gaul passed on. So that combined with having the bad influence of older brother Rene, and a few naughty things he learned form Scotland...is what made the outcome we now see in grown France

France's face on the 4th panel is one of my favorites for some reason. And his hair looks so GREAT there! (but somehow he has never looked more like a girl to me XD)

I have to agree he does look like a girl, maybe all this sword play and training will help him become less that way, but he is still quite young - still he is just prissy for a little boy ^^

Maybe, but probably not XD I don't think he ever really became manly. Just....less girly. And I never much thought about it before, but I love that you go for the historical stuff rather than bringing up other hetalia characters as much. Like they're there, but they're not the main focus. And it's a kinda refreshing change in what most hetalia comics are like. And I never knew much about french history, so it's fun to learn!

I liked the idea of bringing up history but not over doing it to the point that people were either bored or confused- i like that we know the other countries are there but we don't focus too much on it- I too have learned quite a lot because of doing these comics ^^ - its been so fun

I can always see how much fun you have with these! And I love your history, dont' worry we're all nerds here! We probably won't get bored with it (unless you have super walls of text or something OTL) By the way, I didn't mention this earlier, but i should have. I love the coloring on the hem of france's dress (yeah, i know it's a "tunic" but whatever, I'm calling it a dress) The way you did the shading really does make it look believably shiny! It's one of those tiny little things that makes me really happy when I see it (for no good reason XD)

I secretly always wish people who watch me would say what exactly it is they like about how i do the art, mostly because i'm curious what it is.
- i've really become very into doing a lot of my work traditionally. and take a lot of care in how i color Frances cloths- some how my mind says its important to make it look just right and give the feel of the fabric ^^- its just one of the funny ways my head thinks- all that to say i'm so glad the tin little things make you happy too ^^
