this might sound ridiculous, but I'm the girl in this picture. I wasn't lost, but I was everything else. I had just walked from the subway station to the best western on pretty much the other side of hollywood, then back to hollywood and highland. I only figured out later that the best western I wanted was like a block away from where I started. my favorite band was touring the US for the first time, and I flew to new york the week before to interview them and see them play their first show in the states. we were planning on hanging out when they got to LA, but I didn't know when their flight got in, so I wandered hollywood for hours, waiting for a call.
it ended up being the best day of my life, though.
