Your original was great with the colors and the paint brush strokes, but this one is almost erie. Like with all true art, I'm sure everyone sees something different depending on their background and mind frame, me; I see something akin to a symbolic portrait of Christ surrounded by thorns. Truly interesting peace. Gonna Fave it. LOL

it wouldn't be fair to say i like it better than the original because i feel that it is completely different. i do love this one in bw!!!!

it looks (to me) like a thorny tree spirit staring up into the emptiness of the clouds, knowing that the sky will not quench the thirst in his soul (hope you don't mind my embellished interpretation.. but i enjoy when a work of art accomplishes the task of stirring the imagination)

I really LOVE it!.. I couldn't describe it better myself. The power of imagination and expression of emotions is exactly what my art is all about! ..I like it too, when a work of art accomplishes the task of stirring the imagination. I never give much artist comments on my art. This is exactly the reason...I like people to use their own imagination.. !: )
